The Bed & Barn

After working with the Cleveland County Board of Elections for 27 years, I began planning the next phase of my life – retirement. Unlike some retirees who can’t wait to slow down and take it easy, I was gearing up to take on an exciting new challenge on my rural 50 acre property located in the center of beautiful Cleveland County.

In 2016, I renovated my four stall barn and an existing rental home on my land to create Triple BBB Vineyard Bed and Barn. This is a unique lodging experience for anyone looking for a beautiful and comfortable place to stay, with their horses and pets. However, you do not have to come with a horse to stay in my house. My place offers all the comforts of home, and more!

Are you visiting the Tryon International Equestrian Center? We are located only 25 minutes east of the Equestrian Center and are equidistant from approximately 300 miles of riding and/or hiking trails. You can relax in my three-bedroom home with the peace of mind that if you bring horses, they will be close by, safe and comfortable in my barn.

Our ranch style, 1500 sq. feet, single-level home sleeps six people and features the following:

Three bedrooms – the master suite includes a queen size bed with bath, a second bedroom with a queen, and the third bedroom has two twin beds. Linens are included.
Two full baths — one is down the hall from the other two bedrooms.
Living room
Dining room
Two kitchens – these are located side by side, and both are equipped for cooking.
Outside patio (not covered)
Two-car garage
Plenty of yard area to park horse trailers
Pet friendly with current vaccinations and documented flea control with veterinary certification

Located approximately 125 feet from the house is the remodeled barn, which was once an animal veterinary clinic space that now includes the following:

Four 10 x 10 stalls
A tack room/feed room
Three adjoining grassed paddock areas with automatic waterers
Current Coggins certification must be presented for use of the barn and paddock areas

While the setting is quiet and rural, you are not far from activities, entertainment, and all the amenities you desire!

Rates

$115.00/night/two people (includes sales tax and occupancy tax; also includes water, electricity, internet)

$50 pet deposit (will reimburse)

$25.00/day/horse

(Includes only stall/paddock usage and water). Additional amenities will be included on a case by case basis.

Please keep in mind that bringing a horse is not necessary in order to stay in the house.
